Timber Cove Anniversary

This is the view from the Timber Cove Inn Hotel - just north of Jenner, California.  This was were we disappeared to one year ago for our honeymoon.  This is a great annual trip so far... hopefully we'll make many more trips out this way.  Didn't take too many photos as the weather was a bit overcast but there are some interesting shots that were taken by Sara and I.

Windmill in Fort Ross - this is a replica of the original that was built by Russian fur traders before California was developed.  This replica was actually built in Russia to standards and using tools of the time.  This particular windmill would have been in use in the mid 1800s.

Basic views of the park at Fort Ross

One of the original homes outside of the Fort Ross walls

Not the greatest views of the Pacific Highway north of Bodega Bay because of the overcast weather but a sample of the roads and views.  If you have never been north of San Francisco, I would highly recommend spending a bit of time exploring this part of the world.
